When using above 24 cameras, a network architecture is the way to go to speed up the file download process. Raspberry Pi is the most efficient way to do this as no configuration is required. You simply need to flash microSD cards
Software setup
Hardware setup
- Insert the microSD card in the Raspberry Pi
- Connect your ethernet cable from the Raspberry Pi to your network switch (or router)
- Power up the Raspberry Pi. It takes about one minute to boot. Once it is ready, you should see your Pi right away in the Status panel in Xangle. If you have any cameras connected to that Pi (by USB), you’ll see them right away. Make sure your Raspberry Pi and your computer are on the same network.
