When using more than 24 cameras, a network architecture speeds up file downloads. Raspberry Pi is the most efficient way to achieve this: no configuration, no Linux commands. Just clone microSD cards.

As of August 22, 2025, it is now possible to run Raspberry Pi 4 or 5 without microSD cards.

1- Software Setup

• Flash one microSD card using our cloner.
• No IP addresses, no terminal, no OS tweaks.
• Once you have one card, use the batch cloner to duplicate it quickly.

2- Hardware Setup

• Insert the microSD card into the Raspberry Pi.
• Connect an Ethernet cable from the Pi to your switch (or router).
• Power on the Pi. Boot takes about one minute.
• When ready, the Pi appears in the Status panel of Xangle.
• If cameras are connected to the Pi by USB, they appear instantly.
• Ensure your Pi and computer are on the same network.
